First Communion
First communion is a formal welcoming of the young persons who have received instruction concerning the Sacrament.
While we do not withhold the Sacrament pending the successful completion of a course, we do recognize the need to explain to our young the significance and value of this most gracious gift of God.
First Communion classes are taught throughout the year, and culminate with a group activity (baking Communion bread for the worship service) and celebration on the first Sunday in May.
